Travels Through Theatre”

Now, when travel is not self-evident, we look into different types of journeys. Our five guests will lead you in an expedition through theatre, poetry and translations.

They will read in four different languages with translations available.

She has received two national cultural prizes.

Martin Amanshauser, Austria – is an author, poet, and travel journalist for the Austrian daily newspaper „Die Presse“. He holds a PhD degree for History from the University of Vienna. He published eight books of poetry and prose and several travel books.

Ulrike Bail, Luxembourg – even though she was born in Germany, she has been living in Luxembourg for many years. She published several works and is a three-time winner of Luxembourg’s national prize for literature, the Concours littéraire national. Moreover, she was named author of the year in 2020 for the women writers’ association Autorinnenvereinigung e.V in Germany. Her collection of how many fathoms deep was awarded with Luxembourg’s Servais Prize in 2021.

Teresa Colom, Andorra – is a poet and writer. She has a diploma in economics from the UPF. Her latest collection of poems is El cementiri de les matrioixques (‘The burial place of the matryoshkas’, Proa, 2021). She was also associated with Barcelona Poesia as artistic co-director.
