Krog
Krog že dolgo ve,
da se ne bo nikoli docela spoznal,
zato molči.
Na pamet zna
samo pet decimalk števila pi
(kar bi koga utegnilo presenetiti),
vendar krog ni cinik.
Ko ga deček s prstom
riše v sneg,
je vidno ganjen.
The Circle
The circle long knows,
that it will never fully know itself,
so it stays silent.
It knows by heart
just five decimal places of pi
(which might surprise some people),
but the circle is no cynic.
When the boy draws it in the snow
with his finger,
it is visibly moved.

Le cercle
Le cercle sait depuis longtemps
qu'il ne se connaîtra jamais complètement,
aussi garde-t-il le silence.
Il sait par cœur
uniquement les cinq premières décimales du nombre Pi
(ce qui pourrait paraître surprenant),
mais le cercle n'est pas un cynique.
Quand un petit garçon le dessine
dans la neige,
on voit bien qu'il est ému.

De cirkel weet allang
dat niemand hem ooit helemaal zal begrijpen,
en daarom zwijgt hij.
Hij kent uit het hoofd
slechts vijf decimalen van het getal pi
(wat iemand zou kunnen verbazen),
maar de cirkel is geen cynicus.
Als een kind hem met een vinger
tekent in de sneeuw,
is hij zichtbaar ontroerd.
