Transpoesie - Poets

Gabrielle Terpstra (1990) studied at the Academy for Pop Culture and founded the poetry collective “Pauper Poezie” in 2019. She writes poetry in Frisian and Dutch, often highlighting the fringes of society, and excels at writing poems on the spot, inspired by her surroundings. Gabrielle has performed on various stages in the Netherlands and Belgium. She participated in multiple slams, and released a poetry collection as a creative director, poet, and illustrator with Pauper Poezie. She has produced several performances based on her poetry, combining it with music and other art. Her work, known for being powerful, humorous, and poignant, offers a deep dive into her experiences. This summer, her first poetry collection will be published by Hispel, and she is currently working on a novel.

Gabrielle Terpstra (1990) a étudié à l'Académie de la culture populaire et a fondé le collectif de poésie « Pauper Poezie » en 2019. Elle écrit de la poésie en frison et en néerlandais, mettant souvent en avant les marges de la société, et excelle à écrire des poèmes sur place, inspirés par son environnement. Gabrielle s'est produite sur diverses scènes aux Pays-Bas et en Belgique. Elle a participé à plusieurs slams et a publié un recueil de poésie en tant que directrice créative, poète et illustratrice avec Pauper Poezie. Elle a produit plusieurs performances basées sur sa poésie, en la combinant avec de la musique et d'autres arts. Son travail, connu pour être puissant, humoristique et poignant, offre une plongée profonde dans ses expériences. Cet été, son premier recueil de poésie sera publié chez Hispel et elle travaille actuellement sur un roman.

Ze schrijft poëzie in het Fries en Nederlands, waarbij ze vaak de rand van de samenleving belicht, en blinkt uit in het ter plekke schrijven van gedichten, geïnspireerd door haar omgeving. Gabrielle heeft op verschillende podia in Nederland en België gestaan. Ze nam deel aan meerdere slams en bracht een poëziebundel uit als creatief directeur, dichter en illustrator bij Pauper Poezie. Ze heeft verschillende uitvoeringen gemaakt op basis van haar poëzie, in combinatie met muziek en andere kunst. Haar werk, bekend als krachtig, humoristisch en aangrijpend, biedt een diepe duik in haar ervaringen. Deze zomer verschijnt haar eerste dichtbundel bij Hispel en momenteel werkt ze aan een roman.
