Jaan Malin alias Luulur (* 1960) is a Estonian poet, artist curator, esseist, editor/publishe etc. Since 1990 he has published 8 collections of poetry  + book of prosepoems + asemantic novel + 2 plays + 1 CD with sound poems. In 2009 he won in Berlin the 3rd place at the Eurpean Poetry Slam Days. In art exhibitions he has taken part since 2013.  He has worked on surrealist texts and art and especially on the first Estonian surrealist Ilmar Laaban. JM compiled books on Laaban's works: bilingual collection of his translations (2001 – „Magneetiline jõgi” [Magnetic River], nearly collected poems (2004 – „Sõnade sülemid, sülemite süsteemid” [Swarms of Words, Systems of Swarms] and book of palindromes (2008 – „Eludrooge ego-ordule” [Drugs of Life to the Ego Order].   2010-2018 he was the founder and main organizer of the international interdisciplinary festival “Crazy Tartu” and 2013-2017 the series of poetry slam “TarSlam”.Since 2001 I've done sound poetry. With them in May 2009 I won the Estonian Poetry Slam Championship.  Mainly with sound poetry he has performed in Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Austria, France, Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Russia, Portugal, Georgia, UK, US and Island. Usually no translation is needed.  As a vocalist he’s a member of the total improvisational band Rooluulend.

Il a travaillé sur des textes et des œuvres surréalistes et notamment sur le premier surréaliste estonien Ilmar Laaban. JM a compilé des livres sur les œuvres de Laaban : recueil bilingue de ses traductions (2001 – « Magnetiline jõgi » [Rivière magnétique]), poèmes presque entièrement collectés (2004 – « Sõnade sülemid, sülemite süsteemid » [Essaims de mots, systèmes d'essaims] et livre de palindromes (2008 – « Eludrooge ego-ordule » [Drogues de vie pour l'ordre de l'ego]. 2010-2018, il a été le fondateur et principal organisateur du festival international interdisciplinaire « Crazy Tartu » et 2013-2017 de la série de poésie slam « TarSlam » Depuis 2001, je fais de la poésie sonore. Avec eux, en mai 2009, j'ai remporté le championnat estonien de poésie slam. Principalement avec la poésie sonore, il a joué en Slovénie, en Hongrie, en Roumanie, en Autriche, en France, en Belgique, au Danemark, aux Pays-Bas, en Allemagne et en Lettonie. , Lituanie, Finlande, Russie, Portugal, Géorgie, Royaume-Uni, États-Unis et Île. En tant que chanteur, il est membre du groupe d'improvisation totale Rooluulend.

Hij heeft gewerkt aan surrealistische teksten en kunst en vooral aan de eerste Estse surrealist Ilmar Laaban. JM stelde boeken samen over de werken van Laaban: tweetalige verzameling van zijn vertalingen (2001 – „Magnetiline jõgi” [Magnetische Rivier]), bijna verzamelde gedichten (2004 – „Sõnade sülemid, sülemite süsteemid” [Zwermen van woorden, systemen van zwermen] en boek met palindromen (2008 – “Eludrooge ego-ordule” [Drugs of Life to the Ego Order]. 2010-2018 was hij de oprichter en hoofdorganisator van het internationale interdisciplinaire festival “Crazy Tartu” en 2013-2017 de reeks poëzie-slam “TarSlam” Sinds 2001 heb ik met hen klankpoëzie gemaakt. In mei 2009 won ik het Estse Poetry Slam-kampioenschap. Vooral met klankpoëzie heeft hij opgetreden in Slovenië, Hongarije, Roemenië, Oostenrijk, Frankrijk, België, Denemarken, Nederland, Duitsland en Letland , Litouwen, Finland, Rusland, Portugal, Georgië, Groot-Brittannië, de VS en Island. Meestal is er geen vertaling nodig. Als zanger is hij lid van de totale improvisatieband Rooluulend.
