Nata a Milano nel 1948, è poetessa, narratrice, saggista; Laureata all’Università di Lovanio in Belgio, giornalista professionista.

Ha collaborato a lungo all’Almanacco dello Specchio Mondadori sia con i suoi testi sia presentando per la prima volta in Italia poeti contemporanei come Edmond Jabès e Bernard Noël.

Suoi testi sono stati tradotti in diverse lingue tra cui greco, portoghese, svedese o arabo.

Nel 1990, è stata Presidente dell’Association Européenne pour la Diffusion de la Poésie con sede a Lovanio in Belgio, di cui sono stati Presidenti fra gli altri Mario Luzi e il Premio Nobel Seamous Heaney.

Born in Milan in 1948, Donatella Bisutti is a poet, narrator and essayist. She graduated from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve and she is a professional journalist. She has longstanding collaboration with the "Almanacco dello Specchio Mondadori", both with her own texts and by presenting, for the first time in Italy, contemporary poets such as Edmond Jabès and Bernard Noël. Her texts have been translated into several languages including Greek, Portuguese, Swedish and Arabic.

In 1990, she was president of the European Association for the Diffusion of Poetry, based in Louvain-La-Neuve, which counted among its presidents Mario Luzi and the Nobel laureate Seamous Heaney.

Née à Milan en 1948, Donatella Bisutti est poète, narratrice et essayiste.

Elle est diplômée de l'Université de Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgique) et journaliste professionnelle.

Elle collabore depuis longtemps avec l’« Almanacco dello Specchio Mondadori », tant avec ses propres textes qu'en présentant, pour la première fois en Italie, des poètes contemporains tels qu'Edmond Jabès et Bernard Noël.

Ses textes ont été traduits dans plusieurs langues dont le grec, le portugais, le suédois et l'arabe.

En 1990, elle a été présidente de l'Association européenne pour la Diffusion de la Poésie, basée à Louvain-La-Neuve, qui a compté parmi ses présidents Mario Luzi et le prix Nobel Seamous Heaney.

Donatella Bisutti, geboren in Milaan in 1948, is dichteres, schrijfster en essayiste. Ze studeerde af aan de Universiteit van Louvain-La-Neuve (België) en is journaliste van beroep.

Ze werkte lange tijd voor de ‘Almanacco dello Specchio Mondadori, zowel met eigen teksten als door, voor het eerst in Italië, hedendaagse dichters als Demond Jabès en Bernard Noël voor te stellen.

Haar teksten zijn vertaald in o.a. het Grieks, het Portugees, het Zweeds en het Arabisch.

In 1990 was ze Voorzitster van de, in Louvain-La-Neuve gevestigde, Association Européenne pour la Diffusion de la Poésie, een vereniging, gevestigd in Louvain-La-Neuve, die onder andere Mario Luzi en Nobelprijswinnaar Seamous Heaney tot haar voorzitters mocht rekenen.
