Simone Atangana Bekono (1991) studeerde in 2016 af aan Creative Writing ArtEZ met een bundeling van gedichten en brieven getiteld Hoe de eerste vonken zichtbaar waren, die in herdruk verscheen bij De Nieuwe Oost in samenwerking met Lebowski Publishers. Momenteel werkt ze aan een roman die bij Lebowski zal verschijnen. Ze is een van de deelnemers aan het Europese talentontwikkelingstraject CELA.

In 2016, Simone Atangana Bekono (1991) graduated in Creative Writing at ArtEZ (Arnhem, the Netherlands) with a collection of poems and letters entitled Hoe de eerste vonken zichtbaar waren (‘How the first sparks were visible’). The collection was reprinted at De Nieuwe Oost, in collaboration with Lebowski Publishers. She is currently working on a novel that will be published by Lebowski. Atanga Bekono is one of the participants in CELA, a EU-funded literary talent development programme.

Le recueil a ensuite été publié par De Nieuwe Oost en collaboration avec Lebowski Publishers. Atanga Bekono écrit actuellement un roman qui sera publié chez Lebowski. Elle est l'une des participantes à CELA, un programme de développement de talents littéraires financé par l'UE.
