Elyesa KOYTAK

Elyesa KOYTAK was born in 1989 in Istanbul. He graduated from Galatasaray High School then went to Galatasaray University, where he obtained a degree in sociology. He worked as a research assistant at Bilgi University. He received his MA from Bosphorus University's department of sociology, completing a thesis on Cemal Süreya and 'İkinci Yeni'.

He has published academic articles and translated works from French and English. He currently works as an editor for Halen Avangard Editions. Koytak's poems and writings have been published in literary magazines such as Fayrap, Cins, Kılavuz. His first poetry book, Hicretsizlik, was published in 2015.

Elyesa KOYTAK est né à Istanbul en 1989. Il a terminé ses études secondaires au Lycée Galatasaray. Il a obtenu son diplôme en sociologie de l'Université Galatasaray. Il a travaillé comme assistant de recherche à l'Université Bilgi. Il a fait ses études de post graduat au département de sociologie de l'Université du Bosphore, où il a défendu sa thèse sur Cemal Süreya et 'İkinci Yeni'.

Il a publié des articles académiques et il a traduit des œuvres à partir de l'anglais et le français. Il travaille actuellement comme éditeur aux éditions Halen Avangard. Les poèmes et écrits de Koytak ont été publiés dans des revues littéraires telles que Fayrap, Cins, Kılavuz. Son premier recueil de poèmes, Hicretsizlik, a été publié en 2015.
