Anni Sumari has published ten books, mainly poetry. Her first book Matkakertomuksia pimeydestä (Accounts of Travels in the Darkness) was published in 1986. In 1998 she was awarded the Finnish National Broadcasting Company's Poetry Prize. Her poems have been translated into 20 languages. Sumari works today as a writer, editor and translator. Her latest work, Odinin ratsu (Odin’s steed), is a collection of ancient myths on Scandinavian deities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anni Sumari a publié dix livres, principalement des livres de poésie. Son premier livre Matkakertomuksia pimeydestä (Récits de voyage dans l’obscurité) a été publié en 1986. En 1998 elle a reçu le prix de la poésie YLE (radio-télévision publique nationale de Finlande). Ses poèmes ont été traduits en 20 langues. Sumari travaille aujourd’hui en tant qu’écrivain, éditrice et traductrice. Sa dernière oeuvre, Odinin ratsu (Le coursier d’Odin), est une collection d’anciens mythes sur les dieux scandinaves.

 

 

 

 

 

Anni Sumari heeft tien boeken uitgegeven, voornamelijk poëzieboeken. Haar eertse boek Matkakertomuksia pimeydestä (Reisverhalen in de duisternis) werd in 1986 uitgegeven. In 1998 heeft zij de prijs van poëzie YLE (Finse publieke omroep) gekregen. Haar poëzie werd in 20 talen vertaalt. Sumari werkt hedendaags als schrijver, uitgever en vertaler. Haar laatste werk, Odinin ratsu (De koerier van Odin), is een collectie van oude legenden van scandinavische godheiden.
