Une vie

 

Son nom Mawda son âge à peu près deux son exil

avorté d'un seul coup née loin de ses terres natales

 

en cette Europe expulsée d'une frontière à une autre

dans le froid des camions le métal des camionnettes

 

Mawda Shawri fillette kurde et elle souriait parfois

dans les camps de fortune dans la gestion des corps

 

à travers la nuit la vitre une balle d'un flic à travers

sa joue l'histoire lègue à sa famille une vie de deuil.

Een leven

 

Haar naam Mawda haar leeftijd omtrent twee haar ballingschap

op slag afgebroken ver van haar geboortegrond geboren

 

in dit Europa van de ene grens naar de andere verdreven

in de kou van vrachtauto’s het metaal van bestelbusjes

 

Mawda Shawri een Koerdisch meisje en ze glimlachte soms

in de vluchtig opgetrokken kampen in het beheer van lichamen

 

door de nacht het glas de kogel van een smeris door haar wang

de geschiedenis vermaakt aan de familie een leven van rouw.
