Transpoesie - Poets

Tahel Frosh is an Israeli poet, born in 1977, who published her first major poetry book in 2014, entitled “Avarice”. With a law degree from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and one in clinical psychology from Tel Aviv University, she is currently a doctoral student in Hebrew literature at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, where she teaches, and a columnist for Israel’s leading Haaretz newspaper. She is a member of the art and social justice collective “Guerilla Culture”.

“Avarice” offers a documentation of the discontent in Israel and all over the world, a universal aesthetic analysis of the social order, which is much more radical than the social justice protests that began in July 2011.

Tahel Frosh est une poétesse israélienne, née en 1977, dont le premier livre de poésie, paru en 2014, s’intitule “Avarice”. Diplômée en Droit de l’Université Hébraïque de Jérusalem et de Psychologie Clinique de l’Université de Tel aviv, est elle doctorante en Littérature hébraïque à l’Université Ben Gourion du Négev, où elle enseigne également. Elle tient une chronique dans le quotidien israélien Haaretz. Elle est membre du collectif artistique pour une justice sociale “Guerilla culture”.

“Avarice” rend compte du mécontentement  en Israël et dans le monde et offre une analyse esthétique de l’ordre social plus radicale encore que les mouvements de protestation de juillet 2011.

Tahel Frosh is een Israëlische dichteres, geboren in 1977. Haar eerste dichtbundel “Gierigheid” verscheen in 2014. Ze behaalde een diploma Rechten aan de Hebreeuwse Universiteit van Jeruzalem en een diploma Psychologie aan de Universiteit van Tel Aviv, vervolgens behaalde ze een PhD in de Hebreeuwe literatuur aan de Ben Gurion Universiteit van de Negev, waar ze eveneens doceert. Ze heeft een vaste rubriek in de Israëlische krant Haaretz. Ze is lid van de kunstvereniging voor sociale gerechtigheid “Guerilla culture”.

“Gierigheid” is een uitdrukking van het misnoegen in Israël en elders in de wereld en biedt een estetische en nog radicalere analyse van de sociale orde dan de protestbewegingen van juli 2011.
