Fiston MWANZA MUJILA

Fiston Mwanza Mujila (Lubumbashi, Congo) lived in several European countries and teaches African literature at the University of Graz. He writes poetry, short stories and theatre texts, reflecting on the chaos and civil wars during Mobutu's dictatorship. He also edited the poetry anthology Kontinentaldrift. Das Schwarze Europa, which is the basis for the TRanspoesie evening of 28 September 2022 at BOZAR.

Fiston Mwanza Mujila (Lubumbashi, Congo) a vécu dans plusieurs pays européens et enseigne la littérature africaine à l'Université de Graz. Il écrit de la poésie, des nouvelles et des textes de théâtre, dans lesquels il réfléchit sur le chaos et les guerres civiles sous la dictature de Mobutu. Il a par ailleurs composé l'anthologie de poésie Kontinentaldrift. Das Schwarze Europa, qui est à l’origine de la soirée de 28 september 2022 à BOZAR.

Fiston Mwanza Mujila (Lubumbashi, Congo) woonde in verschillende Europese landen en doceert Afrikaanse literatuur aan de Universiteit van Graz. Hij schrijft poëzie, kortverhalen en theaterteksten, waarin hij reflecteert over de chaos en burgeroorlogen tijdens Mobutu’s dictatuur. In Nederlandse vertaling verscheen de roman Tram 83. Hij stelde tevens de poëziebloemlezing Kontinentaldrift. Das Schwarze Europa samen, dat aan de basis ligt van de avond van 28 september in BOZAR.
