Adám NÁDASDY

 

Ádám Nádasy was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1947, and lives there. He has a degree in English and Italian, a PhD in phonology, and has been teaching all his life. He is a linguist, translator, and poet. He is a university lecturer in English Linguistics. His literary activity is in Hungarian. He has published several volumes of poetry, and has translated a number of English plays into Hungarian (including Shakespeare, Wilde, and Shaw).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nádasy Ádám 1947-ben született Budapesten, Magyarországon. Angol és olasz nyelvekből diplomázott, doktori címét fonológiából szerezte, egész életében tanított. Nyelvész, fordító, költő. Egyetemi oktató angol nyelvészetből. Szépirodalmi munkáit magyar nyelven írja. Számos verseskötetet publikált és több angol drámát fordított Magyarra (például Shakespeare,Wild és Shaw darabokat).
